Mark grew up in Spokane, Washington with two older

brothers.  Feeling God’s leading, he used his savings from

paper routes and small jobs to invest in his first rental house

at age sixteen. By the time he was eighteen, he purchased

an additional four unit apartment building and a small house which he moved into.

At age 19, again feeling God’s leading he decided to leave it

all behind, including his friends and family and take a one year trip around the US on his Harley.

Taking only enough money for a few weeks he wanted

to completely depend on the God he was learning about

through his study and practice of Christian Science. 

He wanted to learn more about how to lean completely

on this unseen presence to meet every need.   Feeling God impelled to make the investments and choices he had

already made, he wanted to learn more about this God.

He also had many physical healings using prayer growing up

and found that he was able to heal a good friend of serious

menstrual cramps.
