Source connection

We can worship God today by remembering that He/She is directing us and is guiding us to do what we are doing today — whether going to the store, doing our job, taking care of the kids, shoveling snow, cleaning the house, writing a paper, driving a truck, teaching a class etc.

Consequently this God, who is the source of our life, is also giving us the motivation, the strength, the ideas, the ability, the flexibility, the stamina, the courage to do what we are doing today.

Remembering this, can give you the added strength or ideas or whatever it is you need to do what you are doing. Remembering our Source is so important. This strengthens us and allows us to do so much more. Thinking we are the source, weakens and limits us.

    Hey Mark,
Thanks for the reminder to turn to the Source of who we are. You’re right, we are not our own source of activity and inspiration. God is.

  2. I have been reading this message when I was in Geneva, Switzerland Mark and it’s my favorite because it’s so true. I am finally making a comment because it’s never too late. I absolutely agree with you Mark that, God is our only Source and depending upon this source, gives me everything I need for the day. I am working on a project now but it feels like nothing is happening but then I realized that I am planting seeds and in time, they will sprout and God’s Love will be upon it. I believe in this so much but when I think that I am the source of my footwork and I push it to the limit to get what I want, I clearly see no results and I get frustrated in my own work, thinking, hey…, I am seeing no results in my work, what is happening, then…, I feel sad and anxious with my own self and this is not something that I want. Then, I center myself, seeking my “Source connection” knowing that it already exists in me (within me) and that opens up a brand new horizon for me and I feel motivated again and I remain in the faith that God does provide me with everything daily and I have so much to be grateful for. Patience is all I need and with God’s guidance I will seek what I am looking for. God is the true Source and Provider in all our daily needs. Thanks Mark for the beautiful Rose picture too, whenever I look at it, it really cheers me up!
